Description: Straight from 18th century Florence. Beautifully carved wormwood. Still functional, of course. If you have some known measuring masses, this old scale is perfectly capable of making sure justice is served in all your business dealings. However, it could also serve as fantastic material for making a cool, antique lamp. 

Condition: Pre-owned -- decent; there is a shelf missing from the middle of the base (probably was used to store known masses); wood, especially around the base, is scratched and worn; the brass plates look their age -- one has a fissure about 1/4" below it's lip
