Description: This comes from a collection of prints published as a set in 1962 by Abbott Laboratories in Chicago, IL. They depict the dress and tools of European physicians and nurses from antiquity up to the Napoleonic era. They were made by the famed illustrator and designer, Warja Lavater, who is most celebrated for her innovative technique of translating stories into visual symbols.

Condition: Good -- there are no holes, tears or discolorations on the image; the paper is slightly warped; the frame is in good condition, with a few dents and scratches around the edges
